The March challenge for the Philly Modern Quilt Guild is making a monochromatic quilt. Anything we want, any size and any color scheme. I’ve decided to go with shades of blue and make another big couch pillow.
I found everything this week using Pounce, which shows new shops that haven’t had a sale yet. There’s some great stuff out there! Must…hold…back…shopping…fingers!
I think this Banana Sky painting from FourFeetSquare is cheerful, and I love the keys. This would put me in a good mood immediately.
So I said back when I was making my Bianco/Rosso Bag that I thought the basic shape would also make cool pillows. I have another friend with an upcoming birthday and a new apartment in Brooklyn, so I took my own suggestion and made her a pair. I made some changes, like not quilting them. I was tempted to call them Tricolore Pillows, but I don’t want the Italian thing to get out of hand.
