I haven’t posted since H’s first day of school, it’s just the start of the busy season around here. I haven’t started her Halloween costume yet, and we’re still settling in to the school year. Plus we’ve hired a new sitter, and I’m heading into a lot of holiday deadlines with work.

Once again, it’s summer, and I didn’t take many outfit photos last month. At all. But I did grab three days of outfits in Italy, where I turned on my full fancy tourist look.
So, I’m working full time now, and life is a juggle. We have a part-time sitter, I’m not spending every afternoon with H anymore. Which is great for her–she gets to run around with a fun college student who does all the fun things she wants to do. And it’s great for me–I work, I use my brain, I love what I’m doing. But I miss those long afternoons with her, and the projects and activities we’d do together.
When the new year rolled around I got my usual urge to reorganize, but this year I really, really reorganized. We replaced the 9-year-old bedroom carpet in my studio with some office carpet that wears well, I completely moved furniture around, and I threw out…quite a lot. I wanted the space to feel more open, and even though I have a LOT of craft supplies…I wanted it to feel as contained as possible.
I should get around to posting this, since it’s almost the middle of July and all. And, it’s been almost a full month since I’ve posted anything. Summer. Life. New job. All The Things.
