It was chaotic, but the kids helped me get SO much done. The shell of our new library tree is up, designed and cut out by some 4th and 5th graders.

I just have to make some leaves (last year I did apples for fall). I’m having some drama with this tree. I bought a small die cut machine for myself at home, and I’m having a heck of a time finding dies big enough to work with my school projects. It’s perfect for home projects, but big dies are either nonexistent or really expensive. My school apparently has a die cut machine, but at the moment no one is sure where it is….

But I will persevere, and I will get this tree decorated for fall!

Back to school stressing has begun, but I’m pacing myself. We’re going to Seattle this weekend for PAX, and I’m planning on making all the library cards and filling in the names for my record book on the plane tomorrow night. Heading to the airport straight from work!
