My grad school friend Tara was in town from Austin a few weeks ago, and we met up at the Met to chase H around and talk. It was wonderful. She moved away about 5 years ago, and I haven’t seen her since!

I didn’t get many photos at the Met, we were just too busy. But it was such a great afternoon to catch up, check in, talk about our lives since we became moms. We looked at beautiful things and were just happy to wander around. We left the Met after a bit and walked around the city while H, who insisted on bringing the stroller (we’re almost fully phased out of it), slept away in it. I needed that afternoon with a good friend after a busy year and a hectic summer.
