I bought a lot of great fabric this summer after a bit of a dry spell buying new fabrics. I’ve only cut into the Cotton + Steel bundles above, and even then I’ve only used two of the fat quarters. But I can’t wait to play with the rest.
I got some gorgeous Liberty of London prints from Purl SoHo back in June. Originally I wanted to make H’s bucket hat out of the two left prints, but I changed my mind. No idea what I’ll do with the darker prints. Any ideas?
Picked up this collection of Handmade prints from Windham Fabrics in Lancaster with my mom.
Oodles of Lotta Jansdotter from Lancaster.
This was also the summer of stocking up on bolts of Kona solids. So much white! And undyed! And Kona Snow!
At Pennington Quilt Works a few weeks ago I cleaned up during their summer sale. I got these flat folds of Bee in My Bonnet and Next Stop London for $2 a yard, and I already had fabrics from these collections in my stash. Backings!
And also, Geeky Chic and Type prints on sale! Not as cheap as the flat folds, but still a great deal.
So. Much. Fabric. This has been a terrible sewing summer, I have much to catch up on. Hopefully I will this fall and get a chance to play with all this loot.
