Today I was bawling over the Houla massacre in Syria. Absolutely bawling while I read about cowardly ax murders, shootings, and stabbings of women, children, and infants. That’s the word I kept seeing in my mind over and over again, “infants.” And I couldn’t look at H without getting hysterical, and I was Googling for the nearest protest I could go and join, and it was time for a dose of joy. So I went straight to bawling over pure awesome like this post on Boing Boing (thanks for the link, LAM). The internet is the great perspective leveler.
