I haven’t been on since Wednesday, and I won’t really be back till tomorrow. Needed to catch up on sleep, life. I’m at a quilting retreat with my mom and aunt, and I’d hoped to get some blogging about my trip in. But my netbook crashed! No photo access, and my beloved iPad doesn’t quite cut it. Off to sew, back tomorrow!

I’m pretty sure this isn’t what most people have in mind when they see “Las Vegas Shopping,” but I can’t help myself. The truth is, aside from a souvenir pen at CSI: The Experience and a Beatles t-shirt, this is what I shopped for in Vegas. And I’m not sorry! Because this might be my new favorite quilting store.
First of all, this:
Other posts on this trip: Las Vegas Food.
Most of our days in Las Vegas looked like this:
I could’ve lounged by that pool forever. Last time we were there it was February, and far too cold for the pool. I got bored a lot faster. There’s also ARIA’s spa, my new favorite place on Earth. But, there is more to do in Las Vegas than sit by the pool and go get massages, apparently.
We just got back from a Spring Break trip to Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon (with Cora and Ian), so I’ll be posting some trip photos for the next few days!
We stayed at ARIA, and the food was incredible. We had breakfast (and snacks) at Jean-Philippe Patisserie pretty much every day we were there. ARIA is owned by the same company as the Bellagio, which has the original Jean-Philippe Patisserie. But I thought this one was better.
Before is on the left, After is on the right.

I think I’ve finally broken free of my haircut fears after years of terrible attacks on my curly head. Now I can’t wait to get them, and I’m slowly moving closer to getting them more often. It used to be every 2 years, then about a year and a half, then 11 or so months, now as of my haircut yesterday it’s 10 months. I’m aiming for 6 months, so I’m marking my calendar now that come October I should be back in that chair at Devachan Salon with the fabulous Jackie cutting away.
