Okay, I’m finally recovered enough from the ridiculousness of our return home (thanks a lot, Virgin!) to start posting about my trip.
We left a week ago to visit Adam’s mother (Cora) and stepfather (Ian) in the northern English countryside. We actually arrived at Heathrow Thursday morning, rented a car, and made our way up to them. And I did my first ever driving on British roads! I have to say, American roundabouts now seem ridiculous and also far less terrifying compared to those in the UK.
We stopped in Stratford-Upon-Avon on the way to see where Shakespeare was born.
We didn’t do the full-on tour, we didn’t have the time. But Adam did take some appropriately cheesy photos of me outside of Bill’s house.
