It’s been a rough week with the weather we’ve been having around here. I’ve had bad headaches pretty much every day, and this morning I started getting a sore throat. So we decided to skip the Valley Shepherd cheese festival and just spend a quiet day at Pier Village.

This is when I love living by the shore. When the crowds have cleared, the weather is gorgeous, and you can just take it all in. Great lunch at McLoone’s Pier House, nice walk on the beach.

Now I’m home trying to nurse this sore throat before it turns into anything worse. Tea. Lots and lots of tea.
