This month I took pictures of my outfits every day, not just on work days. So I have a rogues gallery of myself while sick (the 4 days in pajamas), wearing Adam’s McLaren shirt for Favorite Sports Team Day, in costume as Waldo, and sometimes even with Adam lurking in the background.
Last year I went as the Paper Bag Princess for Halloween. This year all the teachers decided to dress up as Waldo. I decided I had the perfect hair for Waldo’s hat, so I spray painted my hair red and white (with Adam’s help!) to look like his hat. I kind of loved this costume! The shirt was $10 at Old Nay, then $6 for hair paint and I was done. And the kids got such a huge kick out of seeing me with my hair dyed, although a lot of them thought I was the Cat in the Hat.
I made Beef Teriyaki for dinner tonight and remembered I made this same recipe a while back with pork, took photos, and never posted it. So, the time has come. It’s a super-simple recipe that takes maybe half an hour to prepare (including the time it takes to make the rice in our rice cooker). I add snow peas (and sometimes red onion) to make it a full-on stir fry.
