I didn’t know why, but I’d really struggled with photos of that quilt once it was on the wall. I couldn’t get the lighting right, and I’m not the world’s most skilled photographer. Adam and I had a little tutorial today, and I tried again because the lighting looked really great. I’m much happier with this photo than the ones from my last post.

And overall I’m really happy with the dining room, except for that horrid light fixture. That’s the last big thing I want to do in that room, everything else is just hanging some pictures and polishing it up. But Adam has kind of sworn off electrical projects after installing a new fixture in the upstairs bathroom. And all the ones I’ve seen that I like are hundreds of dollars. So someday that one will be gone, but for now it remains.
