So it’s looking like a done deal that Adam and I will be going to Paris for a few days in late July, then on to meet his family for a week’s vacation in Hungary and Vienna. We’re going to the Hungarian F1 Grand Prix, which I’m over the moon about. Vienna will be amazing. All these cities (and countries, for that matter) are new to me, so I’m ticking off more places on my lifelong To Visit list.
But really, it’s Paris I’m thrilled about right now. I’ve decided I will try to finally finish Hemingway’s Moveable Feast before I go. I’m already building up a pile of books on my Amazon wishlist to get me ready for Paris. I’m not going to buy any until school gets out because I really can’t devote enough time to them. But I’m counting down the days until I can get my hands on these!
Markets of Paris by Dixon and Ruthanne Long.
Flea Markets of France by Sandy Price.
The Best Vintage, Antique, and Collectible Shops in Paris by Edith Pauly
Paris: Made by Hand by Pia JaneBijkerk.
I can’t wait, I’m sure my list will get longer and longer. Than I have to work on Hungary and Vienna booklists….
