I’ve started a new quilt, using Aneela Hoey’s completely delightful Little Apples collection.
I don’t know what I’ll do with this quilt yet, but I’ve turned my layer cake into a bunch of big half square triangles, like I did with the Lily & Will Quilt.
I didn’t mix in a solid, though. Just alternating the white and grey backgrounds with color backgrounds. I have the whole layout of the quilt set already.
I’m already halfway through piecing the top together, so that part is definitely coming together quickly. I don’t know how long it will take me to finish the complete quilt, and I’m deciding whether or not to add some sashing around the edges of this top with some of the yardage I have from the Little Apples line. I caught that one turquoise square that’s facing the wrong direction and turned it before sewing this up.
This is going to be cute, I like it a lot!
