I’ve taken a short sabbatical from blogging since school started on Thursday. It wasn’t intentional; I’ve had so much going on that I’ve just been too exhausted to sit down and post. So now I’m trying to get my brain organized and back into school/fall mode. As usual, I need a list for that.
- I have to master the online lesson plan system and submit my 1st set of plans by Wednesday.
- I’ve signed up for Blogging Your Way (so excited!). But the class is starting NOW, and I’ve barely looked at the site. 🙁
- I need to clean up and finish some of these DIY projects around the house: the card catalog, etc.
- I haven’t been to yoga in almost a month, time to get back on track with that.
- I need to put in my time request for the NJASL conference in November.
- I’ve taken care of my brother’s birthday (which was yesterday), now I’ve got to start thinking about a gift for Adam’s.
- Christmas gifts need to start getting made if they’re getting made at all this year.
- I need to do book orders and an A/V order for school.
- I’m trying to decide whether or not to stay with all 3 of these virtual quilting bees. They’re kind of kicking my butt, I barely have time for any other sewing projects each month.
- I need to put all the kids’ names in my planner, and I need to make a new Game Days chart for the library.
- I also have to figure out how to run off student barcode labels in the new catalog at work (new to me, at least).
- Checkout letters to parents and a library newsletter.
- I really REALLY need to get reading. I’ve been doing so many things around the house all summer that I’m way behind last year’s pace for books read at this point in the year.
