I made patriotic desserts for a party at my brother and sister-in-law’s pool club. Blueberry pie (which was honestly terrible) and sour cherry pie (which was glorious).

H chased her cousins around our house at a cookout on the 2nd.

My sister-in-law brought over a patriotic tart. We had Adam’s famous burgers and hot dogs.

We went to the Bronx Zoo for a drizzly 4th of July. H bonded with a peahen.

And we road the monorail to see stuff.
